TEPD is structured to leverage a network of nine leading academic researchers from three Ontario Universities and industrial researchers in four major Canadian R&D companies, in order to provide maximum enrichment of the learning experience for the trainees. A diversified group of trainees will conduct research in one of the seven pharmaceutical-discovery research themes that follow closely the stages in pharmaceutical discovery pipelines used by developers of drugs, biologicals, and vaccines. A schematic below depicts the TEPD research and training structure including names of academic researchers and companies primarily responsible for the respective themes in the TEPD program.
